Project Description

Mountain View Candles is a small-batch brand built around simple ingredients, natural textures, and a love for handmade work. I created a Shopify site that feels the same way—clean, warm, and easy to navigate. The goal was to make the online experience feel just as personal as picking up a candle in person.

I shot all the product and lifestyle photos myself, mixing moments from the local farmers market with studio setups to show both the brand’s community side and its craftsmanship. The market photos feel real and grounded, while the studio shots focus on texture, color, and light. Each product was photographed in a way that captures how it looks and feels, then turned into ready-to-use mockups for quick updates and future campaigns.

On the backend, I built all the PDP content with dynamic metafields and metaobjects, so we can easily manage scent info, care tips, and product siblings without extra work. It keeps the site flexible and simple to update while still looking polished.

The end result is a website that feels handcrafted and modern at the same time. A digital version of what it’s like to walk by the Mountain View Candles booth, smell something good, and stop to see more.
